The turbulent year of 1918 was the first year of civil war in the Caucasus. Upon learning that her husband had been arrested and sent to prison, teacher Maryamik decided to rescue Arsen. Together with her aunt Anahit, she sets out to search for her husband. This difficult journey becomes a path to enlightenment for Maryam.
